- Basil started racing HQ’s in New Zealand in 2001.
- When He moved back home to Australia he built a VN Commodore Saloon Car which he raced in the QLD State series from 2004 to 2006.

- The car was moved to Melbourne to compete in the Victorian State series in September 2006 as well as a support class for the Sandown 500 that year.
- In 2007 he built a VT Commodore Saloon Car as the class was updating.

- After a year of development, the pace of the car started to appear.
- Powersource sponsorship allowed further development and entry into higher profile events such as national rounds at Sandown and Phillip Island as well as a support class at the 2008 Bathurst 12 hour.
- After some promising results including 2 second place finishes at Sandown, we achieved our maiden win at the Winton round of the VMRC.

- We are currently placed 5th even though we have raced only 4 of the 5 rounds.  There are 2 rounds remaining, Phillip Island and Winton. We will also be running a national round at Sandown.
- We will again be racing at Bathurst in February as a support class for the Bathurst 12hour.
